West Branch Country Club, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in West Branch, Michigan
West Branch Country Club first opened for play in 1920. The course was designed by Jerry Matthews
This scenic course's front nine has generous landing areas, while its back nine is tight. The overall terrain is flat, and the fairways are tree lined because the course is located in a wooded area. Water hazards come into play on a few holes, making shot accuracy important.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,480 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,426 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 11, a par-5 that plays to 565 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 129 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 11, a 565 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 1, a 341 yard par-4.

Nice course back nine is wooded and is a bit harder that the front. Have full service restaurant and a golfer grill on site.

I really enjoyed the bar/grill and overall ambience of the course. A little hurried due to the volume of players but sometimes you have that. I plan to enjoy more outings here.
